Not worth the money
I purchased this device thinking that since it was made by a reputable company, it had to be good. The concept of the gun & hopper is great except that the concept here does not work. I've mixed various materials of different viscosities and they all fail to gravitate to the lower portion of the hopper into the gun. The spring-loaded piston like lid is designed to 'push' the material into the gun, only it doesn't do the job either. The various orfices are difficult to load into the gun as well. On a positive note, the best feature on this gun is the air control is located on the gun handle as opposed to being on the air compressor. I'm getting rid of my 13602 and going back to the conventional gravity-fed hopper.

DRYWALL TEXTURE
Have utilized a friend with a "standard" pattern gun previously, but decided to get one of these units for myself. The item(s) that caught my eye were the closed lid and spring loaded top to provide down pressure to the spray gun. Unit was easy to load and use, especially with no fear of spills. One thing lacking for me was a better set of instructions...with a new tool, it's always helpful to have comments and suggestions for use from the manufacturer. If my friend had not been there to lead me through on the set-up and mixing, I would have had a long day of guessing and keeping my temper. Also, no markings on the patterns as to which is what size and they are plastic...not a real fan of plastic parts on tools. Overall, it did what it was supposed to do for me. I do review this website prior to any tool purchase. Am in agreement with the reviewer having problems with a thick mix like stucco. We had to thin the texture mix about 25% thinner than the same mix with a "standard" pattern gun.

Useless for stucco
I bought this texture gun to spray the finish stucco coat. But, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. After reading the previous 2 reviews on this product, I decided to make the mixture a bit thinner. For the first 5 minutes or so, everything was ok. Then, the nozzle keeps getting stuck, and I had to throw out all my stucco and flush out the system with water. This went on alternately for the next 5 or 6 attempts. The next day, and texture gun gave up completely; apparently some air leaked out of it and it wouldn't even spray at all. I then gave the product to a handyman to try to make it work, and he tried for more than an hour but to no avail. Who wants a product which only functions intermittently for one day and then breaks down? Don't waste your money until they improve their gun.

Junk
I don't recommend this to anyone wanting to use it for spraying on Stucco. The first day I used it, it didn't even work right. When I put third batch of mud I put in it got jammed up. The needle valve had gotten stucco in it and it wouldn't spray. The fourth batch was fine but on the fifth batch it messed up again. This time it was getting air but it wouldn't spray the stucco. I only tried it on stucco so I don't know how it would do on the other things it claims that it is able to do. So my advice is to save your money until they improve on their gun.

Editorial Review :
Whatever material you're spraying, you'll get maximum coverage with minimal effort. The one horsepower capacitor-start electric motor powers a rotary vane compressor that lets you spray at up 30 psi with a 3/32-inch air nozzle. We liked the fact that there are two interchangeable air stem nozzles that double your range of patterns and spray pressure. And there's nothing more to buy--everything you need is included: compressor, pattern gun, hopper, hoses, and 25-foot power cord. Despite its dry weight of 99 pounds, it moves easily on its own cart. Perfect for the contractor.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

Goldblatt Pattern Pistol and Hopper
I have used this machine for many years without too much trouble, but now that Goldblatt went south I am having a hard time finding repair parts. For small jobs it is excellant, and I have used it in a pinch for a whole house. If any one can direct to a source of parts I would be gratful.

Goldblatt Trowel Trade Tools GB13300 Pattern Pistol with Compressor
I was delighted when the shipment arrived earlier than expected. Once I opened the box, I was dismayed to find a bag of parts requiring assembly. One part, the oil reservoir was completely broken. I immediately sent the unit out for repair. Fortunately, the repairman was able to use parts from an old non-working unit to fix the new unit so it is operational. I lost additional time and funds in the process.

Question : Whats your Airsoft Setup
Answer:
I put on some camo and mesh mask. I use a CM032A or an Echo 614 useless I use my son's G36C. I have a vest but don't bother and don't bother with pistols since my mags for those guns named hold 900/1000/470 and a spare rifle mag seems more useful than a pistolI keep a neoprene mask in my pocket in case I plan on some close quarters and I put a radio in my upper pocketOh gloves. I hate getting shot in the hand.

Question : A home made gun
I'm nearly finished building my first AK47 pattern rifle. I've had alot of fun doing it, and I can't wait to shoto it For my next project though I think I'd like to try building more of the gun myself. Instead of just buying an aftermarket receiver, and basically reassemblying a Romanian parts kit. I've heard about a few black powder pistol kits where you have to do most of the work, but other than that I'm not sure how to go about it. Any advice will be welcome, thanks
Answer:
As I recall UK during WW2 manufactured a sub-machinegun, mainly off-the-shelf plumbing metal, that didn't require much set-up. It was ugly, short range, and killed the enemy.Suggest you do the nasty in-lieu-of nice.
